Sassy Senior Portraits

I love spring because I get the chance to shoot so many of my new favorite subject...Seniors! These sessions are so fun, especially when my clients are excited about the experience. I don't start shooting these until mid April, but here are some of my favorites from last Spring...

This is Sarah. We did her photos at Lewis Street Park (aka Al Borlin Park), in Monroe. She was so stunning and easy to work with. Open to all my crazy suggestions and looked so natural in every shot. Sarah brought her boyfriend, as well as her family along, so we were able to get some really cute group shots as well.

These are some of my favorite headshots. Everyone looks so natural and relaxed, a goal of mine in every photo I take.

This is Margaret. We shot her photos at this amazing little ranch where she boards her horse. She is a natural in front of the camera and looked remarkable no matter where put her. I love it when the seniors have a special place that they have chosen to have their portraits taken. There is a certain ease reflected in the images when the subject is comfortable with thier surroundings.

And last but not least, a few of my favorite final shots. I want your senior portraits to reflect who you are. So please, bring your best friend if they can make you laugh until you pee your pants, wear your letterman's jacket if you are proud of what you have accomplished, or just be yourself...your natural, beautiful, unique self.
I am looking forward to meeting this years crop of Seniors in a couple weeks. As always, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call or shoot me an email. And, if you know of someone in the 16 -18 year old range, feel free to pass on my information. Your referrals are always welcomed and appreciated.

Birthday Bikes

How did my tiny little 4 lb preemie's turn into these large, bike riding monkeys in just three short years? Here they are posing with thier brand new big boy bikes. Jake, of course, has to be in constant motion. Never a dull moment with these two. like a rocket!

Landon on the move...kind of.

It's a race! And it is anyone's guess as to who is winning...

Profeta Family

No Sibling Rivalry here. Jenna & Luke are so fun to photograph, I had quite a hard time narrowing down the pictures to my favorites from this shoot.

Miss Jenna looking lovely as always...

Luke at only 6 months old...

3 Generations of the Profeta family.

A boy and his mommy, could there be a sweeter love?

One happy family. Thanks guys, looking forward to next time! :)

Derek - 10 Months Old

Derek is such a handsome boy and he sure loves the camera. My favorite kind of kid!

Posing with mom and dad.

Capturing all the 10 month milestones...sitting, crawling and just barely standing.

Just happily hanging out in his natural habitat.

Gabe's 2nd Birthday

Gabe's 2nd birthday party. He wasted no time digging into those presents!

Looks like the terrible twos haven't quite set in. He didn't mind a bit when his sister blew out his birthday candle.

Party portraits of Piper, Gabe and Jake.

This is one lucky little boy. A cadillac at 2 years old, I wonder what he will get at 16...

Newborn Taylor

Taylor was my 2nd shoot this weekend. Both Taylor and Hailey's mommys received a newborn photo shoot as a baby shower gift. What lucky ladies to have such thoughtful friends. Thank you to those who contributed. :)

So sleepy...Being cute all day long must be draining.

Happy to be with Mommy.

Precious Moments with her older brother Tanner.
